see my signature, no receipts till date money order not cashed, Called USCIS got an answer.... "Not yet in the System", but IO told me there is a big junk of files and it will be processed in next 30 or 40 days.

I have only seen just one or two cases so far with receipts I mean filed on Jul 2. I myself am a Jul 2 filer NSC filer with TSC approved 140 and haven't gotten anything yet....I also had the LUd on 7/28/07.
I have counted my self from diff forums and seen around 10+ cases who got their RN's.

Well, it goes beyond that. This is a "complicated story with no sub titles".
IV website is a board where people of all kinds visit and there is no control over stuff. Just go to any blog site - we see 100 rants and crazy comments as against a few wise talk.
I guess we have to live with it and keep pushing people. Sometimes loud and sometimes gently.
My friend, it is to "push the people" that I am saying all this. How best can we push? Through word of mouth, or thru full campaign?

..f(p)light still seems to be wheeling on the runway as compared to NSC's soaring high approvals. Any thoughts?:confused:
May be just may be because TSC approved a lot of cases for the current PD 2 years ago and have less cases than NSC.

1) If the dates have retrogessed to 01/2000, that means that there are atleast some cases of 2000 that have now been cleared for processing and will be dealt with first before the rest.
2) It also means that there are sufficient numbers of these to have caused this problem. The numbers might be sufficient to use up all of this years allocation?
3) once these severely backlogged cases are cleared may be we can see some forward movment?
Either way this certainly adds a couple of years to the already 4+ years of average wait. Without much exact information from the USCIS we can do nothing other than start the next prediction:D
For sure legal alternatives wont help. the country cap is to ensure equal opportunity for smaller countries which dont have enough infrastructure as large countries such as India/china. We cannot expect the country cap to be removed.

My 140 was pending in TSC since early feb. It got approved on Aug 3rd. My 485 app was receipted on the same date from TSC. So, app was transferred from NSC-> TSC (filed in NSC on June 25th).
So, folks, hold on - you will get receipted soon.

IV core cannot "officially" endorse this... We are on our own.
As for sending flowers to Chertoff or Rice - It is good but let us stick with one person for now (Emilio). Unless you are willing to send to all three :). It will seem like there is more unity amongst us if we send more "number" of flowers.

I belongs to TSC category but my lawyer sent my application to Nebraska.When I check the status online, says "case received in TSC"!! but Only the AP and EAD Checks are cashed. The I485 & FP checks are not yet cashed. Do any one come across like this?.

FYI...
My friend and his wife received Receipt Notices for 485, EAD and AP on August 10, 2007. The Received Date (when application reached NSC) was June 25, 2007. And yesterday (August 13, 2007), his wife's EAD was approved. They still haven't gotten their FP notices as yet.
BTW, their packet was transferred from NSC to TSC since the I-140 was approved from TSC. It appears TSC is faster in processing EADs/APs than NSC.
Other details: I-140 was PP-approved from TSC in June 2007 and the application is EB2.

Thanks.. All of our checks were sent by lawyer and they were not telling me any thing. When I asked them repeatedly, they just said checks have not been cashed and our dear USCIS refused to give any update, as it has not been 90 days. I am still waiting for FP notice or receipt for my I485/I131 and receipt for I485/I131/I765 of my wife.

I filed concurrently for I140 and AOS by sending in the application packet today. My lawyer suggested that even though the USCIS receives the packet tomorrow but are not able to receipt it before the 17th they can reject the it. I am a little confused about his advice, can anyone please provide a clue and sooth my nerves? It would be a tremendous obligation.

No one has to do a vote on scrapping CIR. The absence of any activity towards appointing a conference committee and scheduling a conference committee to reconcile differences between House immigration reform bill(HR 4437) and Senate immigration reform bill (S 2611) would cause both bills to stay as-is in house and senate respectively without making any progress towards becoming a law.
No one has to formalize this. Not working on it is good enough to kill reform. I dont think anyone is going to come out and say "CIR is dead". However, if house and senate leadership indicate that "we need more time to read Senate's bill", or we need more time to understand and "Hold hearings" etc, its evident that they want to throw roadblocks and postpone it. Which is the same as pushing the bill to its grave.
